| New Year......wow 2007! It has been an eventful holiday; it started with Kaite's showchoir perfomance, continued with Lydia's having all four wisdom teeth out, then we skipped out on Thursday before school was out in a Dodge Durango, Lydia, Jared, Marianna, Kaite and I and drove to Washington, DC.....then Susan, Jared's mom, flew up to Baltimore and joined us.
It was a trip to remember. Susan and I did not have a chance to meet until we met outside the METRO station in Washington.
And I haven't even mentioned the wedding, seeing my sister and all her family, meeting the new Cavanaugh inlaws, the Ruffners, and having a tour of the West Wing. Let the pictures tell the story.

and Kaite in front of her.   This is Jared's Mom, Susan; we are on the street in front of the White House, the National Christmas Tree, and the National Menorah; they were having a Chanauaka Festival with a bouncing blow up dreidle behind us.

| This picture illustrates the situation in many Mississippi families on this particular Saturday afternoon in November. Mississippi State Bulldogs vs Ole Miss Rebels....she is the bulldog; he is the rebel. We have here a new member of the Clan...poor misguided soul; he is an Ole Miss Fan! The game is tied right now, 10 to 10.....it has been a good game so far! MSU is at 3rd down and 9....the second half has just started good. Jared and Lydia at the Thanksgiving table.
